Our first business B M Shah & Co. came into existence in the year of 1948, started by Mr. Ambalal Shah.
We started out as a trading company dealing exclusively in Caustic soda and soda ash, we grew rapidly in
the first 20 years and having warehouses and offices in and around South Mumbai the main business district
of Mumbai and thus INDIA.
We enjoyed exceptional growth and customer support and in the year of 1970 our directors decided to expand
into manufacturing. We acquired our first manufacturing facility in Dahisar Mumbai in the form of International
Chemical Manufacturers. This facility was started with an aim to manufacture Specialty chemicals in the range
of few Kilograms to a few hundred kilograms.
Then again the growth then was rapid and we subsequently out grew out Dahisar facility and had to move to a
larger facility. Thus Bharat Rasayan came into existence in the year of 1989 located at Tarapur about 100 Kilometers
from Mumbai. Tarapur Is managed by MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) which is a
government body. This area has been developed as an industrial zone with adequate infrastructure and facilities
required for chemical industries. This facility has always been under upgradation and expansion owing to our
customers increasing expectations from us.
Bhupendra Shah (Director)

Mr. Bhupendra Shah has over 40 years of experience in the Indian Chemical industry and over 10 years of experience in the North American markets. His emphasis on rigorous operational methods has led Bharat Rasayan to produce innovative, robust and commercially successful chemical processes. He has a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from University of Mumbai and a Post Graduate degree in paint science from VJTI.
Amar Shah (Director)
Business Development
Mr. Amar Shah is in charge of sales across North America and Europe. He has over 8 years of experience working with customers in the chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical and agriculture industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Univercity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration in Financeand Management degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Sweta Joshi (Quality Control Manager)

Dr. Sweta Joshi is managing analytical activities and responsible for providing quality of products. She has overall 12 years of broad experience working in analytical development laboratory of chemical and pharmaceutical manufactring. She has expertise in compliance for WHO, EU and ANDA regulatory authority.She holds a Doctrate degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Univercity of Mumbai.
Ruchita Bhuta (Marketing Manager)

Ruchita Bhuta is heading the Sales and Marketing responsibilities across South East Asia. She has overall 14 years of experience working with global customers in the chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical and agriculture industries. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from the Univercity of Mumbai.
Vikas Rajput (Production Manager)

Vikas Rajput is handling the production responsibilities in factory. He has overall 10 years of experience working with chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical and agriculture industries. He has wide experience in handling distillation columns, varity of reactors, centifudges, driers, vaccum systems and glass lined reactors.
Ravindra Singh (Accounts Manager)

Mr. Ravindra Singh joined Bharat Rasayan in the year 1998. He has been with the organization and in the chemical industry for over a decade. He is active in the trading and specialty chemicals business of the organization. His attention to detail and contacts in the industry has helped Bharat Rasayan save a lot of resources.
