As our business continued to grow, we outgrew the Dahisar facility and relocated to a larger site. In 1989, Bharat Rasayan Advanced Specialty Chemicals (BRAS Chemicals) was founded and established in Tarapur, approximately 100 kilometers from Mumbai. Managed by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), this industrial zone provides the necessary infrastructure for chemical industries. Our Tarapur facility has continuously evolved, undergoing upgrades and expansions to meet the rising expectations of our customers. Today, Bharat Rasayan stands as India’s leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of specialty chemicals, including fatty acid anhydrides, pharmaceutical and personal care intermediates, and Grignard reagents.
